I am an experienced lifestyle and reality Television Producer and Journalist from Australia who specializes in lifestyle, travel and reality productions. I’m not one to sit still so I’ve packed all that I could into the past decade of working in the media industry; including television production, radio, print, online and publicity. I’ve worked on series like Australia’s Next Top Model, Big Brother and currently work with TPD Media producing travel programs The Great South East and Queensland Weekender among other new shows I love lending my hand to.
My job has taken me to some amazing places around the country and the world. As Series Producer of The Flying Winemaker I travelled to northern central China, on th borders of the Gobi desert to an emerging wine town called Ningxia, across the continent to Beijing and along the coast to Yinchuan, I also ventured to various wine regions and cultural centres of India and explored Australian Wine regions.
Working on Queensland Weekender I have covered a variety of half hour specials tackling some amazing trips like an outback exploration with iconic Australian photographer Steve Parish, diving into an assortment of experiences along the length of the Great Barrier Reef with winner of ‘Best job in the World’ Ben Southall and a journey of discovery from cattle property to the famous Mt Isa Rodeo.
My work with these local shows feed my inquisitive nature and in addition to this I also tackle additional projects procured by TPD Media like The Stafford Brothers, Celebrity Babysitter and recently I Series Produced The People of the Vines.
As a mum of one, soon to be two, I have taken my passion for travel and exploration and desire to tell the world and signed on as a blogger with Holidays with Kids magazine.
Outside of my professional work my thirst for visiting new places has seen me venture further afield to explore the globe and there are many more places on my list. I’ve got an interesting production schedule ahead and I hope to share that through this blog – even if my mum will be the only one to read it.
